Also a parts & misc section (battery, marbles, module blanks ect.....)

and added a cart instead of buy it now on everything.

took more work than i expected....and i still got alot of it to work on...but now it's in working order and capable of taking orders.

I noticed a minor spelling mistake under the Aixiz Modules Blanks: "Blank 12x30mm collimating housing with acrylic len. " I'm guessing you meant lens. Nice site BTW.

Wow, the Blu-Ray laser is a good deal! :)

You should consider including safety labels, though.

i've looked into buying foil labels from andy con, along with print outs from laserpointersafety.com to go with the lasers.

thinking about selling green pointers (around 50mw or so), assuming people are willing to pay the extra money so they don't have to risk going through customs and be able to get their lasers within 2-3 days...and hopefully the profit would make up for the greenies that don't make it through customs on their way to me.

In the (very) rare instance that a shipment of greenies was turned away by customs, from what I understand they would be returned to the vendor so eventually you'd recoup at least MOST of your investment ...

The site looks a LOT better without all the testosterone, BTW, glad to see you took some of the advice thrown out here on the forum!

I don't know about the logic in that.... ::)

So your saying.... when importing illegal stuff into the USA... if the customs get a hold of it...
and is deemed illegal to import... they will return it to the vendor... :-?

I guess all the cocaine manufactures/suppliers will be happy to hear that....  ::) ::) ;D ;D

From the shop:

"Juice Brand 3.6v Recharbeable CR2 Battery" :D

That sounds almost as bad as 'Beer brand beer' ;)

The lasers look very nice in the coleman host btw, quite like a good factory made product - nice to see!

haha yeah, they seem to be pretty good batteries though, i don't think the capacity is anything to be impressed with but i haven't had any screw up on me yet, and they top out at 4.25 volts.

Wow, there are cocaine vendors that accept returns? Wish I'd have known about them in college...  ;D

I wasn't trying to condone illegal importation, or cite precedent - I have just picked up a few "bits and pieces" here and there that there are considerably more refusals than seizures, that's all.

I WOULD, however, like to throw in a little bit I may have left out of my post, which is my humble opinion that there is NO justification, logic, or potential gain to be had by advertising illegal lasers for sale on the WWW as a company, period... Components, pieces/parts, etc - That's just how we survive. Busting average Joes who flaunt it, that's how "THEY" survive.

You hurt my feelings, Jerry - I'm gonna go sit in the basement in my underwear, bat the lightbulb around and write letters to the government now  ...  ;)

i see your point.

I was also thinking of simply buying green modules and having my machinist make diff heatsinks.
then i would have red green and blue for all the same hosts.....matched set.

Hey BCM.... I see your point as well... but lasers are not restricted in
Canada at this point in time... maybe other countries have no restictions
as well... and I think the USA may not ban the Export of lasers... (I'm not sure
about that though)... :-/
The problem is only in the countries were it is illegal to import lasers today...

So.... put your pen down... go put your pants on and come back upstairs.... ;D ;D

yeah but my plan was to order the green lasers, and sell the ones that got through, thus eliminating peoples worry of customs getting it, aside from having to wait a month to recieve it.......that way they could order it, and have it in 2-3days.

;) Thanks, Jerry - I feel better now!

You're definitely safer doing the "component" sales than advertising higher-powered greens ... One untapped (thus far) market you might want to look at would be having a kit made for Susies big green modules (the 250mW plus ones) - even thought the economy is a little weak right now, you'd be giving people a lower cost option for a big green vs RPL's, etc (I know I myself almost took the $1000+ plunge several times before I stumbled across a relatively good deal on my Hercules, but would have gladly built a "DIY" if the price was decent).

Thay "matched set" idea might not be so bad either, maybe you could sell them as kits and let people buy their own Colemans at Wal-Mart, save you a few $$$ on the front end.

Just a few ideas...

true....since the coleman are $30 each...the only mods that have to be done to them is scraping the paint off the top edge of the boddy to make contact with the HS.

i'd love to make a DIY kit.....but i don't think i would ever get a green module....$300-$500
is just too much right now...trying to save up for this retardedly expensive engagement ring....maybe once that is taken care of i will look into it.
