Just wondering if anyone has a list of some good US companies.

Not really any for prebuilt lasers above 5mW, although you can find them for sale here on the forum.

Off the top of my head for misc parts and kits with good prices and good service:

Cajunlasers.com
Mohgasm.com
Modwerx.com
LazorLabs.com (mine)

hm, I was gonna say

Cajunlasers.com
LazorLabs.com
Modwerx.com
Mohgasm.com (mine)

Its not all its cracked up to be. Lots of work, little money. I'll be done once I get my medic license. No point in selling stuff when I could just pick up an extra shift for $250

Thanks guys, I figured there wasn't much in the way of built lasers. Also if you need ANY webdesign at all let me know. I can make quick/nice looking sites. I work at an advertising agency and its a hobby of mine also :)

I shelled out $ for my zencart template. It was looking rough before and someone mentioned it looked like it was put together by a child with ADD, so i bit my lip and actually paid for the template (because i couldn't find a pirated version  )

I used paypal add to cart buttons for a long time. they are great because you can add links within the forum for people to buy the stuff, so they don't have to sign in or PM you to buy.

If Zencart had a module that let me buy and print USPS shipping labels, and then automatically updated the customer's order status as well as adding the tracking # to my paypal account, then it would be perfect.

Yep for all the fees and hassles of paypal they really have a great system to deal with orders and shipping. It has really helped me be as efficient as I am with shipping. I could not image having to hand write out envelopes and running to the crowded post office every day.;)

I still have to for international packages. Luckily i live in a small town so it's usually not too busy, and they know me by name.

I have a stamps.com account for internional first class shipments and it is well worth having since paypal won't add that feature.

oohhh
I'll have to check it out.
I hand write each one and then manually type in the customs # for tracking as a sort of confirmation that i shipped it.
i HATE it.
