I have been searching for a blue 445nm/450nm/473 (BLUE) ~5mw< Handheld Laser for about a month or so. With the help of RHD I was directed to look into 450nm. I have found that I can build one for about ~100.00. I got a reply from LMLaser.com from China that says they can build me one. I am kinda leery of it though.

How could they possibly make this for 22.00.
Too good to be true?
I feel like this is a stupid question and like I'm going to get railed for even asking. But as I did search for LMLaser on google and on LPF and in the list of good/bad companies and found nothing, so I thought I'd ask.

Email Thread Below. Attached Picture they included.

we have one model that produce recentlyit is very strict design, even you 360 degree rotation, the spot still fix on the same place. very high-tech product.
picture in the attachment.
price 22$ each, power can control just below 5mw.
use 3a battery, which just a little smaller than the 16340 battery
how many do you want?

I am interested in a custom 450nm Blue 5mw in the "Rifle" style host.
It is imperative that it be as close to 5mw but just under it. 4.8-4.9mw as I am using this for presenation indoor use.
If it were to have an option to increase the power with a key switch or toggle that would be great. However it must not be PWM as from what I have read PWM pulses at a higher than safe output.

Thanks,
Ben

It's either horrible quality, or just another 405nm laser advertised as 450nm.
