I'm just looking on any information on these two websites.

I've already ordered a 500mw blue laser from LP, and honestly due to their customer service (or lack thereof), I'm considering canceling my order and switching over to Lazerer.com. I've found another laser there for $25 USD more, and double the output power.

I'm relatively new to purchacing lasers online so any information on these sites would be extremely help and greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Lazerer is amazing, from what I have read. They are on holiday right now (since they are a chinese company), and should be back tomorrow. I know nothing about Lazerpoint

I actually got an e-mail back this morning from LP, stating that they're also a Chinese company based in Hong Kong and were closed over the holidays. That explains the lag in customer service, so i'll give them a shot and just wait for my laser to come in the mail. Should take about a week.

They have a 7 day warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee, so if they send the wrong item or if it is underspec, i'll send it back and go with Lazerer.com

Okay so my blue 500mW laser came in today, ordered from Lazerpoint.com, and surprisingly it is up to spec, putting out around 470-480mW right out of the box. (The battery even arrived fully charged)

At the same power of the Wicked Lasers' S3 Krypton series, and about 1/4 the price, i'd say this site is a good find. Seal of approval.

Wait, what colour is your laser? And how did you measure its power?

It's blue. (445nm) And we tested it with my friend's laser meter, which reads the power output

Alright. Well... as your friend with a power meter probably would tell you, cost-to-power wise blue is not comparable with green. Read around a little, you'll soon understand.

However my 50mw green laser and 500mw blue laser were almost the same price, and the blue is much brighter.

Mw to mw green is much brighter, but once green lasers get above like 100mw they start costing a lot more

50mW was the same price as 500mW? Either you paid too much for the 50mW or you have a very cheap source for 500mW lasers.

I just made my first order with Lazerer on the 8th of this month and got a email purchase confirmation (PayPal) from them but still nothing from them about it being shipped yet. The laser was listed as being in stock.

I sent Max a PM here a couple days ago and nothing from him either. I'll see if they answer emails...

Update: They just sent me an email today (2/17) that it shipped.

Regarding Lazerpoint.com there is quite a bit of evidence about how shady they are (of which i researched 2 days after the "tracking number" shows as not found) 9 days later tracking still doesn't work and their "24/7 live support" has never been online I've sent 4 emails, 3 messages through there 24/7 support, and even tried calling them, no answer I wouldn't ever deal with them again, the charge went through 184.79 instead of 183.32 and the charge shows up as mixwall. I did some research and it appears they have a uk site as well, as the bank said charge came from London not china: Apple Accessories Store - Cheap Electronics Gadgets Online | Mixwall.co.uk notice how similar it looks to lazerpoint.com. Also note their live support is the same and also not working.

Look at this similarity:
MixWall
Laser Pointers, Flashlights and LED Lights - Help Center

I am disputing the charge now.

Sorry for spamming, but i'm new and don't know where to put this issue best.

I just got conned and ripped-off by lazerer.com for $134.99

Even though they advertised the safest, insured options on transportation, they don't have any insurance options during their web-order-checkout when ordering from them. So I asked and paid for extra insurance (for the LZSK - 445nm 1W Focusable Blue Laser Pointer) via E-mail/paypal.

This guy max, from lazerer told me that he a added tracking number and that everything was taken care of.

When the yellowish envelop from lazerer.com finally arrived, it was already torn apart and the laser was missing. I informed our post office and filled in all the necessary paperwork.

When I spoke to max from lazerer he told me he could only get back twice the amount of the shipping costs, which is about $10, but in no way will they refund you anything! But they are willing to compensate the next time you order from them (so you can lose everything all over again).

This is how they do business: prepare to kiss your money, time, and effort goodbye and get ripped-off, even if your order is insured!

Do not buy from lazerer.com you'll get scammed and lose your money!

Holy cow, dude. You've been told multiple times where to do a write-up about this. This is starting to look like a mud slinging campaign...

Ah, very good. Glad to see that you finally made it here. Now we've only got, what, like five threads that mention your mishap?
