Looks similar to the ones yobresal is selling. Would not be hard for a DYI enthusiast to make a few and sell them after harvesting.

I saw that listing a week ago, he called it a blue laser, but also described it as a 532nm laser...heh

Yeah, somebody else posted this site with the 445's a few days ago. Most everybody was skeptical of the site due to all the spelling errors and mix-ups with terminology and proper labeling.

I wouldn't buy from that site personally.

The diode price seems sketchy. The laser itself though looks pretty sweet. Waterproof, focusable, 1watt. I will order one to see if they are legit. I will report back whe/if it arrives.

I already ordered 1 on sunday after I posted it last week. It does not look like BOB LASERS. The LVYI laser comes with safety glasses, 2 CR123 batteries w/charger, the laser is also focusable, water proof and shipping for $170. I will take pictures when I get and do a vid on you tube. I just wasn't going to say anything because nobody thought should trust them. I already have my order # and authorization # , their chat is not that great but if you e-mail them they answer you back unlike WL. and they take pay pal, So we shall see!:pop:

Here is the my first post http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/1w-445nm-decision-54829.html

It says copper cooling even, and batteries and charger are included. This is too good!

But how do you know for sure the diodes are casio diodes? They is no indication of such except in the title of the browser..

So does snoctony on eBay, for $50 more. He's a more trusted and known seller too, so I'd go with snoctony if you want to try it.

Thanks. And I know. I already get stuff from him. But need to start more simply. I think my first DIY DPSS will be a 532 heh.

Yeah that somehow sounds all too good... especially the diode for that price

But, what diode ?

In my browser, the page says just "laser diodes" ..... no diode types, wavelenghts, powers, no links to other products ..... just "laser diodes" and the $20 price .....

Isn't this a little bit too much generic ? :p :D

Still if they got the diodes in any other way other then dismantling the projectors, such price would be achievable.
