Well I had always wanted to try the legendary rog8811 yellow build... so after the Titan's Fist (which is almost finally done) I built one, and really learned alot.
One thing is for sure that this is one cool
laser really bright so much fun.:wave:
I really researched this build and of course gathered a lot of info using jayrobs yellow build thread and other sources. I tried this build awhile ago and failed miserably, but with the 520nm diode I felt comfortable giving it a try.:angel:

I shorted up a mag-lite host to except a 32600 battery to use as a host. I first tried a sAik, but only got as far as the heatsink. I did not have the opportunity to take my pics during the process, for one there was just to much going on.
I decided to use a 300mW 638nm for the "red"
only because I was worried I would not be able to keep up with the 520nm with a 650 or 660nm.I had a microflex laying around so I had it set to top out @650mA later to dial in the yellow I had to turn it down, then up, then down:thinking:
I had the 520nm running on a microboost so yea all Dr. lava up thereThe one thing that can be a pain in a build like this is the beam alignment. I tossed around many ideas, I did not want to wonder away to much from the modders theme here and at the same time not to have to use a bunch of goop to hold the beam in place, so here is my solution.
In this pic I used a M3 .50 flat screw and JB-welded 2 M3 nuts on top. After that I used some springs in-between some nylon washers to keep the tension as taut as possible and NOT have that wiggle that disrupts the alignment process.
I tapped the heatsink with M3 threads under the modules. I then used a FS mirror under the 638 diode and a turning mirror sourced from the PHR sled for the blending of the 2 beams under the 520, or center module
. 
Sure was fun all that adjusting, but in the end I nailed it and man what a beauty.
I know it doesn't show in the pic, but I have a 594nm CNI and this is totally more yellow at least to my eyes. I even turned down the 638nm diode to get more of the "yellow".

I utilized the skinny axis by turning down some cast nylon and "sleeving the host.

I wish I had better camera skillz and all, I'm truly sorry for that it totally takes away from how gorgeous this beam came out.
Now some things to tell I have a slight issue in the far alignment that the beam specs for the 638 are crap as we all know so after about 50ft you can see the wings come out of the beam, and without a waveplate, I believe my cross shape is there to stay.Next is to see If combining a couple of 445nm with a waveplate and PBS cube on this set-up would be feasable... only because the ease of alignment given with this screw spring set up.
