What kind of driver may I use for the new Nichia 445 nm 3.5 W diode?

It's my intention to use a Zaser host (customized XL version) with an adapted Jetlaser beam expander for the new Nichia 445 nm 3.5 W diode.
But I haven't found any suitable driver.
I have a Flexmod P3 driver, but I'm unsure if I can use it safely with this kind of diode.
Last month I have fried a very expensive c-mount 650 nm diode so I cannot repeat a similar tragedy.
May be a good idea waiting again for the new Angelo's driver with ramp-up option? This driver can be used for the new Nichia diode? Actually there are other solutions to drive safely this diode?

The 2.4A driver I sell work good for around 4w of output with the 9mm lens or G1.

I have some 3A coming in soon too.

I have some samples coming in on A 4A driver.

I got some Flexmod P3 driver in to test and the max amps I Could get was 2.2Amps sent them back for refund ,I would like to find some that worked at 4A.

depends what output power level you want. I personally would not overdrive that diode much, 4W would be plenty for me and I imagine a lot easier on the diode that trying for 6W, even 5.5W. If 2.4A gives 4W as ricktrent says, I am planning to use my FMT iDRV3 Buck driver, set just a tad higher than 2.4A I think

Thanks for the hint Ricktrent!
I wish to reach near 5W of output, so I wait for the 3A or better 4A drivers.
Have You a personal page where I can see and eventually buy Your drivers?

I will have it on ebay soon .Here is the eBay item number: for my 2.4A 221325545269
I have used the 2.4A on the 1w green got 1.4W to 1.7W on some diodes .
the new 3.5W diode at 4amps your 700ma under max amps getting 6w I think if you keep the run time under 60sec. you will have a long life.

Thanks for the hint Ricktrent!

I recommend the SXB-V2 by lazeerer. I have one running my 9mm projector diode i just built into a host...thread on that later :D
Its a great driver, a little on the big side though- I am not sure specifically how much driver room the zaser has, but i know it would be plenty.

Flaminpyro has SXB-V2 drivers in stock at good price. I see they can output a max current of 3A. Which is, more or less, the output wattage of the new Nichia 3.5W driven at 3A?
