I'm waiting on the 5v & 12v regulators to arrive.
And tonight I'll be working on the sliders and getting my friend to 3D print the housing for them that will be attached to the host body.

The 45mm diameter of that 5X expander is a lot larger than I wanted, 30mm diameter would have been better for this but all of the smaller 5X beam expanders I can find have input apertures below the 5mm we need for the RGB unit. Also, if the outputs are knife edged together, perhaps wider? How much more so? Maybe this isn't a good match after all. The maximum this expander can produce for a defraction limited output is a 30mm wide beam, to me, that means a 6mm wide beam maximum. Because of this maybe it is a better idea to PBS cube combine the two RGB outputs with a broadband cube? I am not sure a knife edge, even if only two beams, will work with the beam expander.
