Default RGB laser (white)

let say we focus Red,green,445 laser to the same spot, are we going to expect a white dot?

and if it does, anyone has an idea about the ratio of the wattage of each of the laser to create the white dot due to the varying human's color perception?

Yes it does. If I recall correctly the ratio of RBG respectfully is as follows 4:3:2

4:1:2*, Bob .

@anthell this is a very impractical idea, but it would work if you had steady enough hands

how about the dispersion? since i noticed that they dispersed differently, does that mean that in the resounding area we will notice smth like a rainbow-ish ring?

so which ratio is the correct one =)

RGB ratio of 4:1:2 sounds about right...

4:1:2 is a good rule of thumb, but it really depends on the wavelengths of red and blue. See this thread for more.

Andy, what if it were 660 - 4 : 445 - ? : 532 - 1. What would be the ? value for the 445nm?

Hi Andy. Your figures differ to tocket's here.

Do you think tocket is on the money with his figures?
