Well, I'ma get an Oceanus laser from Carter... but I can't decide what power level to get. (LOL yes, I'm having doubts already! :D )
Will I really notice the difference between 10mW and 25mW? I haven't ever used a blue before... and I'm trying to decide whether or not it's worse the extra $300.

Go for the 25mw. Would you rather save $300 and get a mediocre laser that sits on your shelf or spend a few hundred more and get an amazing laser.

The 25 will probably be MUCH more visible while the 10 will lose to a 5mw green.

Go for the 25mW. You KNOW you want to. Just think, an extra 15mW of 473nm DPSS blue, how yummy.

I gotta go with Styropyro on this one. I bought an RPL-Blue-10 from Optotronics and was a bit disappointed in it. I could barely see the beam unless I shone it through smoke. Then I upgraded to an RPL-Blue-30 and it's a whole new blue experience. Stunning visible beam and a brilliant dot. If it only costs $300 for the upgrade, you should go for it. You'll always regret it if you don't. ;)

Cheers, CC
