3W directly into your eyebal can physically burn a HOLE IN THE BACK OF IT! or If of collimated IR laser diode reflected off say glass at BEST is still about 100mW or so give or take a bit which can really toast your eyes, please get goggles.

"sigh...." my palm measures aprox. 10cm x 14cm = 140 sqare cm.
With the sun's power at 1366watts/meter that would be aprox 19 watts
on an area of 140cm.

I'd like you to take a 13.4cm diameter magnifying glass (aprox area 141sq.cm)
and focus that weak sun's beam onto your palm and let us know if it
causes any damage to your skin... Let alone your eyes...

Please wear good sunglasses when you do this experiment...

At least Dragon Lasers has the OD rating for the Laser Goggles stated...
while ZoneStealth does NOT... you can't be sure of what you are getting..
(Price is not the only consideration... IMO)

Very nice Laser Safety Goggles you got yourself and I like that fact they
cover 2 wavelength ranges... 190nm-540nm and 800-2000nm..:sold:

But not that effective in protecting from 808nm light.
It's only OD2+ for 808nm and don't know if this optical density is enough safe if I use 1W 808nm laser?
That means that goggles can permit 10mW of 808nm light?

On this page, multiple wavelength goggles costs $39.
Where did you find for $29 :D
