Hi everyone, only just joined LPF having only just built my first laser!

It's a C6 SL host with copper heatsink, 1.25a driver, M140 445nm diode and a 3 element glass lens, I'm running it on two 3v Energizer photo lithium (non-rechargeable) 123a batteries at the moment as I'm waiting for my charging kit in the post! :)

I'm also a slight photography nerd, so hope you enjoy the photos :)

Hi, thanks! :)

It's a Canon EOS 450D using a fixed 50mm f1.8 lens :)

You'll pick up that setup for about £200-£250 these days.

Ben

Yes :)

I got my self a 600D EOS a few weeks ago .. With a 100mm 2.8f fixed macro lens.

Thanks for posting these awesome pics man

great first build! you'll get long life with that driver setting. be careful not to let it get too hot.

Just curious, how many FPS can your camera get? That match sequence is nice.

Also, and this is my biggest question: What kind of white balance settings did you use? And what were your overall settings for the beamshots? The color is super accurate!
