Lowest Price For Blue?

I am thinking of getting a blue, anyone know what the lowest price avaliable is? I tried to contact that guy that claimed $350 on CPF, but got no response. The lowest price I can find is laserglow's $489. Just to clarify I mean a 473nm blue, not violet or anything.

5mw USD278.68
10mw USD425.38
20mw USD485.38
pm me for their address.
i dont know much about the lasers but if you send them a message they send you all the details and pictures.

If anyone gets any information on 473nm blue lasers at these low prices, please post the link.
It sounds pretty fishy; being in the business myself, I can tell you that wholesale quantity pricing on 473nm lasers that REALLY output 5mW of 473 blue is more than the $485.38 price listed above for the 20mW. The high cost of the crystal materials and coatings makes these numbers a fallacy.

Maybe what they are saying is the 5mW is really <5mW...more like 2mW.
Buyers should examine the specs carefully and ask lots of questions beforehand.

Well - I hope posting their email addy doesn't blow the possibility of ordering from them ! I wrote to them and asked for a pricing guide, as well as specifications for thier product lines. Hopefully I will get lucky, and get a reply from them - and maybe we can all get low priced BLUE ! Dang - I have been bitten by the Blue bug, folks - I want one so bad I can taste it !

Anyone wanna donate to the "Save SenKat's Sanity" fund ? LOL !!

I'd just like to 2nd this comment... if that means anything.

I can't put my finger on any specific problem, but there's still plenty of reason for suspicion, and little to no reason against it.

i heard back from them pretty quickly, they sent me an excel document with all the prices of all their lasers.
i tried to attact the file, im not sure if it will work but here goes.

You can open the XLS file, and click, file - save as, and select "web page-mht" then you can upload it. it will have all the tabs, pics, etc...pretty cool :)

Well, I actually just heard back fromt hem this morning, they sent me the exel sheet with all the prices. Unfortunatly there are fairly large minimum orders!

(before you open the file, change the extension from .jpg to .xls

why are blue and orange lasers so expensive?? dont they just put some crystal in to change frequency...like for green? lol or what

i asked them and they said it was ok if i wanted to buy one or two lasers as a sample.
just say that youre interested in buying a large amount and you would like a sample laser.
theyll be fine with it.
