I'm looking for a blue laser pointer, that is as low as 5mW and it has to be less than $300. Is there any site (or person) that would sell them that cheap that isnt a 405 nm rip off? (i cant make any online orders over $300, including shipping)

Well, at least 5mW, but im looking for 473 nm though.

On another topic, how many mW does that 445 nm laser have? It is one watt for $197.97?

It's probably around there, but who knows what WL sets it to. I think the minimum is around 300mW anyway.

Have you seen the new Wicked Lasers Arctic 1W laser ? Check it out. I just ordered one. Looks to be an excellent deal - only $197.97 It is called the Spyder III Pro Arctic. It's a new product so if you order now shipping will be free.

Portable Blue Laser from Wicked Lasers - Spyder III Pro Arctic Series

@ZRaffleticket: ndrew was selling a ~74mW Lasever blue lab laser for $325, maybe he'd consider letting it go for $300, but it's not a pointer.

Hey there,

You can get 1W blue lasers for $200. I don't have the link anymore but search on Google and you'll surely find it.

I would not recommend anything more than 100mw of anything to someone who is new to lasers. If you already know where to get a nice 473 for a decent price, chances say that you know your way around the forum, and around a DPSS system. These 1W lasers may cost little, but the PRICE you can pay for them is MUCH higher. Google searching 1W Blue lasers is not a surefire way to get yourself a proper blue. I recommend jumping in on one of Glenn's group buys. He does good service, and the units are high quality at a good price.

Do a DIY 4171 or 18650 build with the new 445 nm diodes from casio. I just finished mine for about 150 bucks. Its at 600 mA, for longevity. It will last awhile.

Sorry for the terrible necrobump, but any news on how this laser turned out? Pictures? Videos?

If it's not a fake it's the cheapest 5mW blue handheld to be found on the internet- and it's in a Viasho host too (all the better!)
