lab laser to handheld possible?

Beckmann Industrial ..... now they are relatively cheap, i think 70 or 80 $, but when he blowed it up, it was paid like 300$ (and the worse thing, for him, was that he had no way for blame us for that, cause HE blowed it )

Just run it with a 3-5A variable current driver, these lasers need about 2-3A to work, one cheap one as shown in the picture would be a good candidate for conversion, but do know you will find a sweet spot where the power will peak than actually start decreasing again.Blue DPSS is strange!
