Default Iron Man Hand Laser 450nm

Hey all, first thread on LPF started by me, hopefully the first of many! Enjoy.

Little while ago, I started recreating AnselmoFanZero's Iron Man Laser. My spin at it is descent but it was a fun first project. I used an Osram PL450B 450nm diode with a 200ma boost driver powered by 2 AAA batteries.

If anyone wants to give it a try, heres the main body and heatsink I designed. I didnt save the shell but you dont want it anyways, I barely put effort into the design... hours of work saved right there (Highly inspired by AnselmoFanZero)
Simple File Sharing and Storage.
Simple File Sharing and Storage.

Special thanks to DTR for the diode, Flaminpyro for the boost driver, and Mrcrouse for the polished heatsink.

Pics were taken on my phone late at night when the paint finished drying. I'll invest into a good camera for some beam shots.

Thanks for checking it out If anyone wants some extra information, I'll be happy to help!

Welcome to the forum Brandenkokim from a fellow new member.

Nice job. I take it you are part of the heat sink. I didn't catch what current you are running at (The full 200mA?). How long can it run before it gets uncomfortably hot (heat sink side, not the business end)?
