yeah it protects against IR, unfortunately not against green. You should search a little more, the goggles from zone steath IIRC protect from green and IR.
Anyways, you can buy a IR filter and put on your laser.

I prefer to use my Dragon Lasers glasses. They may not cover IR AND Green at the same time, but then again, they cover other ones that i use frequently too.

My first laser build was a 250mw Red one but before I even joined this forum I had been interested in lasers, so I bought one of those green ebay lasers... of course when someone else was using it the would try to hit birds out of the window with it(just shows even some people in their mid 20's are dumb with technology)... and then then dropped it and it just never turned on again.. I have plans later in the future building a beastly laser but I'm saving money to buy 2-3 pairs of goggles for when people want to see it I'm more worried about my vision than seeing a cool string of light.. Blindness < $80 goggles
