how much would intl shipping be?
may i order "preferably to-9 diodes" or "preferably c-mount diodes" in my bag?

are only diodes as stated in your pricelist in the bag, only some/many being dead/underspec? i read of different wavelengths somewhere too..

and finally: did anyone find anything else besides meredith 9mm mounts/housings, for to-9 or c-mount diodes, in the lower pricerange?

man, this is the ultimate one-time opportunity! thats what i call laser-lotto! *excited* :)

That's what I was gonna do :p then i found a c-mount host and opted for a 1W red [smiley=evil.gif]
c-mount host WHERE WHERE?

Also I'm pretty sure 1W red c-mount = epic fail.

Red 1 Watt C-mount $75.00 each

Im 99% sure thats a multi-mode diode.

Multi-mode = FAIL.
All of these diodes are multi-mode, we know this, shut up already :p The only thing FAIL about it is going to be the large diameter beam, but this doesn't negate its power and it can still be focused. It's going to be WIN and if you have nothing else to contribute other than multi-mode diodes are fail then kindly GTFO, sir.

Are there any other grab bags like c-mounts or bars , other type of diodes :)

thanks

The skinny about multimode diodes, all these diodes are high power emitters that are multi mode, This doesen't mean they are going to be BAD, all it means is you need a cylinder lens to correct the slow axis.

You can do this two ways, with a +FL microfiber cylinder lens, then an achromat, you get more power but you also get a 4mr divergance at best.

Next you can use a achromat and a weaker +FL cylinder lens to make the beam collimated, this gives better results and a bigger beam, but better spread. This is the best choice for indoor beam displays.

Finally you can use a -FL cylinder lens to make the slow axis spread as much as the fast axis and get the best quality beam but with a 15% loss in power for a reasonable beam diameter say 1/2 inch.

The only thing multimode diode laser beams are not good for is high speed laser light show graphics.

PS I have C-mount grab bags too, these are prime C-mounts with powers and wavelengths all over the place- You will get a tray of 20 C-mounts for only 100.00 delivered! These will have wavelengths from 645 to 1500nm. I cannot combine c-mounts with 9mm/others If you are interested in these let me know.

Do you guarantee them to be high power?

You have no idea what the hell you are talking about.
Have you ever used a multi-mode?
That's what I thought.

The c-mounts you got were a FREEBIE SAMPLE of the "junk/scrap" pile.

These will be prime c-mounts from boxes that were not marked with any information, Boxes without prime wavelengths such as 808nm or <660nm red, or from boxes what i found ONE to TWO dead units in it when i sampled 10 units from each tray.

ALL TRAYS THAT HAD MORE THAN 3 DEAD UNITS WERE DISCARDED AS SCRAP and are available in the SCRAP diodes $10.00 an ounce.

They will also be of high power rating also minimum 500mw if working; approximate ratio of good to bad roughly 80% good 20% bad.

Hey Chris, dont know if you got my PM or not.. Was the typo with the postal code just in the PM you sent, or did you copy and paste to the package that way??

Some of the postal workers here are not all that bright, seeing an 'L' instead of a 1 might blow their minds :p ::) :(
