That means they admit BluRay is better. It may also mean HD-DVD drives are being chucked out cheap soon.

yep they use 405nm lasers like bbluray so i have no idea how bluray is better

Imo hd dvd is better more features and with bluray you have to buy a new player when they update(original players are already are being phased out).

It was more features no one used, and with bluray firmware 2.0 coming out it will allow updates I believe and internet usage. Just get a PS3, then no need to worry about updates. People are more concerned about capacity for content not useless picture in a picture features. If it was better, it would of won. :cool:

Winning has nothing to do with witch one is better but the one people buy.

P.S. toshiba is considering droping the format they havent already done so.

I think the colours are the same, but the manufacturers are different. So they aren't quite the exact same.

yess, very good news. keep watching the prices of as-is HD DVD players on ebay- they're coming down every day.

Sucks that hd-dvd burners are super rare so it will be hard to find a cheap burner.
