My first 6x corrected build, decided to use the NUBMO8 diode and since I'm using the blackbuck M8 again and it's going to be adjustable I decided to set the
Driver at 5a, This build is one of a kind Most corrected builds are huge and
Use beam expanders, I wanted this build to burn at long distance, be very
Powerfull, adjustable and as small as possible.

Using Jordan's 20mm module with a flattened out bed for the driver was the only
Way I was going to get all the comments into the head,
Honestly the pot is touching the side of the driver, the switch is touching the pot
And the battery positive pill is touching the switch, this is how tight the components are but all wiring is very well insulated.

My design of having 2 pieces press together for a host is unique and works well,
Battery compartment one piece and head with all components the other, also instead of using 2 18650 I decided on using 2 18500 just to get the second part of the host a little shorter.
I'm using blue laminate inside the acrilic tube to reduce the brightness coming from the optical compartment, these reflections can be hasardess, this beam is so bright and hot it's very difficult to get decent pictures, I can feal the heat coming off the beam a few inches away with my hand, I also lit a cigarette 5m
Away in just a few seconds.

I'm very happy I used this diode it's so beautifully bright and with the adjustable pot turned to max witch is 5amps. I'm getting over 6w awesome.

Also that UV glue is so tough and used in small amounts you can't even notice it and the optics won't be moving any time soon.

Thanks Bob
This is a real weapon, thanks for your comments, I'll post a video of the laser itself in action tomorrow, thanks again.

Very good looking build you have there badboy, it looks as if you've made it as compact as possible. :)
I really do like all the "in process" photos; like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. ;)

It's nice to see some new builds, it's been pretty slow around here lately.
:gj:

Nice build. :gj:

What primary lens did you use, a DTR G2 or a Sawnu G2 or other?

The way you managed to fit the corrective optics into the host is exactly what I have wanted to do for a while! Amazing work!

Hi BBB,
As usual awesome build, Bare none buddy. Great machine and miling work and finish. The pics are a great plus and to the point. Always enjoy you work Pal refreshing totally. Keep em coming always a hit..

Rich:)

Hi Red, I used Jordan,s G2 spent a few hrs adjusting the lenses, there spaced
A little less than 30mm and first cylindrical is about 8mm from the edge of the G2 barrel but this was the best spacing for best beam shape I could get, it looks the shape of a football, very happy with it, a little splash but that can be fixed and it's probably just from the aluminium reflection.
