I'll get you a pretty sweet deal on an RPL-equivalent blue if you're interested. As far as portable lasers go, blue is pretty much as expensive per mW as you can get, and even an entry level blue will typically run you $450+. You can't really make a cheap DIY blue. They use crystals made of rare materials and you need precision equipment to properly align them. The cheapest blues are all >$400 at the moment. A good blue will cost you over $1,000.tone1132 said:

Milos and bluefusion would be good people to go to if you want to buy a blue-ray. You could also make one yourself for much less.
