ok now....

I briedfly understand how to make the laser by doing research and watching videos... but I would really love it if someone could help me out on what to do with the pieces i have here, i can go buy the tape wires and i have a solter, and i can get the batteries as well.(btw i do have the safety laser goggles)....

I would appreciate some help from whoever reads this! Please only post helpful things and not things like you need to learn more first... dont start with this laser... i am determined to do this so please only positive help!

I greatly appreciate it guys! Also any videos that explain it very specifically would be nice!

there u go..
scroll down and you will see the M140 in module with leads attached and a microboost drive.. Buy that one instead of all those random parts.

the driver you have got is probably capable of 1A maximum, Yes it will work too
.. Also the m140 can handle much more current at 1.8A and output excess of 2W when used with a G-2 lens..

Your driver will be good too but output will be ~1W

Ok i have a few more questions! :P I might actually buy the m140 aswell! and use it!

When I start i would solter the positive/negative wires to the diode(the correct places)... correct? then solter the other ends of the wires to the drive (the correct places aswell... correct? then i would add another soltered positive/negative to the driver to the power source? and is 2 3.7v li-ion batteries correct amount of power?
Thanks also please feel free to correct alter everything i just said if i am wrong

Not sure what you mean by that paragraph.

In any case, the "host" linked appeared to be purely a heatsink. If you want a torchlight-style laser, that is not what you want.

No I don't want a torch light style host, I was just curious if my concept of connecting it all was accurate , first you have a diode then... You connect the positive and negative wires to the diode, then... You connect the othe end of those wires to the driver, then... You connect another positives/negative wire to the driver which the other end is connected to the power source. That's what I was asking

That driver uses a single lithium battery.

"7.Recommended Power Supply: 3.7V-4.2 Li battery such as 16430,18650,14500 and 18500 or Pre-set lab power."

As noted in it's ebay listing.
