Yeah it'd probably work... Note that there are several of these mirrors in your average dvd or hd-dvd sled... as well as polarized beam splitting cubes that do more or less the same thing.
Play around with the optics in any empty sleds you have laying around, I'm sure you already have a few of these.

sure you could!  but the color balance would radicaly change when you hit something which fluoresence a lot.  i often manually combine 405 & 532 at the appropriate amp each to get a rough idea, and you get this whitish sort of green which almost reminds me of day glo green, but whiter.  its a very light lime "organic" green.  by organic, i don't mean whole foods organic, i mean stinky chemicals bubbling away organic.

I don't buy "organic" food. Does that mean I'm eating inorganic food ?? Silicon based life from what planet?
