Can't you see he is a little kid willing to get something better than what he already has for a low bucket? He sure can't afford a yellow pointer, I already gave you my answer. Get a higher power green laser or forget about better beams...

Hey! Hehe

I'm 19 (in February twenty), but my mum asked me about a birthday gift. Then I think i ask you in the community, i'm not a little kid with a low bucked, I'm in the training for a mechanic job :)

are you willing to spend 500$ on a laser pointer? If you aren't then forget about anything else than violet/red/green...

hi quadcam. how bright at night is the beam of your blue laser compared to the violet and green?

hi quadcam. how bright at night is the beam of your blue laser compared to the violet and green?

At night, my Aquarius and my Lyra 5 are virtually identical in brightness, with a slight favor going to the Lyra's dot-visibility and a noticable advantage going to the Aquarius' beam visibility.

The violet laser's dot is fairly visible in the respect that the other two don't drown it out. It's clearly dimmer than the other two, but the color is so radiant that it can hold it's own and not be washed out. Its sort of hard to quantify without seeing it. It's beam is clearly visible at night, but it's kind of hard to see as this laser uses an Aixiz module with a 5mm beam. If it had a 1mm beam like the other two, it would be very visible.

Let me know if you need some more clarification. :)

do you know if your aquarius is closer to 3mW or 17mW?
i want to know which color has the best beam visibility at night vision (for same output power)

It peaks around 17 mw and averages about 5, and at it's dimmest it's about 3. As was typical for a 2007 era blue laser, it's output varies widely. When it's peaking at night (peaks don't last very long in this laser) it is noticably brighter than the Lyra 5, but when it's running with it's average output (again, about 5mw) it is very comparable to the Lyra.
