I placed a bid on that, before you had mentioned it here.

But - it has a "reserve price", and I find reserves absolutely obnoxious. When I realize that someone has a reserve on an auction, I usually abstain altogether. I didn't catch this one until after the bid, but seriously, why do that? Why not just set your opening bid at whatever you're willing to sell it for. Argh.

For clarification, I am taking the rudely given advice and re-posting the item without a reserve price, but just going to change the starting bidding price.

@OP maybe you can have a "Buy it now" price and a "Make an offer" button. This way you don't have to worry about selling your laser cheap. You could technically sell it for whatever you want or not at all and you would not be locked to anything unless #1 someone hits the BIN button or #2 you accept an offer. We can also get an idea what you are looking to get and what we should be offering.
