Yes this is true. Don't worry though the duty cycle is good still. For general use, you won't need to bother with it. In fact I find that my Aurora benefits from a little heat. But some like it different.

I really need some advice on a solution here guys,

So Adam got back to me and was happy to change my order for the Spartan however the next day realised I'm located in Australia and has told me he hasn't shipped to Sydney in a few years and will not risk the stricter customs issue we have now and has indicated that he would like to refund my money,

I want this laser so bad I have asked if he would dismantle it as much as possible and ship in 2 separate packages I'm still waiting on a reply from him,

Does anyone have any ideas, has anyone dismantled a 589 Spartan that could assist me with a US address!

This is very stressful now my money is tied up and thinking maybe I should have got Haps 594 it was just a click away!

I would have thought Adam might have some contacts in Australia since DL is a china-Australia venture!

I've got an Aurora 589. It is SHOCKINGLY consistent in its output with LiFePO4 rechargeable CR2s (as long as they're not getting weak anyway): 12mW output. Never more, never less. With the non-rechargeable lithiums with a bit more juice, I can get 15mW out of it. Its stable enough that it makes most 532s look bad. Its FAR more stable than my Spartan, which is by itself very impressive.

Interesting, I wa going to get the Aurora but now I've decided to have a 50mw module built and sent to Sydney, I can't wait,

Do you have a thread or review of your aurora or maybe some pics 15mw seem nice!

I've actually never gotten around to doing a review on either the Spartan or the Aurora now that I think of it. I've been so busy out in the real world that I just haven't had time to bother with many in depth forum activities lately.

Hopefully that'll change soon
