589nm Yellow Laser Pointer

Question is not well understood I think... But the brightest Diode available to us is the 445nm +/- 5nm which is pretty hard to beat with it's 1.8W and higher capabilities... If you could buy a green diode, (at similar output to it's compared laser), it would seem to outshine others most likely as the eye is most sensitive to this color when daylight adapted only... When in darkness, the eye would shift it's most sensitive color response to a cyan or greenish blue, about 518nm, so, the night time beam of 445nm is now much closer to the peak dark adapted eye sensitivity not to mention the high output available at 445... I have seen 700 mW 532nm and 2W 445nm and both are bright, but the eye is more impressed by the green, (which was not a diode laser btw, it was DPSS). Yellow at 589nm, (also DPSS btw), (availabe up to about 100mW btw), is also very close to the daylight sensitivity peak, but not as close as green, or as close as the dark adapted eye's peak sensitivity, however yellow is in fact the next choice for brightness of dot and beam in hand held units after green and blue, (here I am excluding Argon as a gas laser is not usually what is in question).
