You're not telling the truth. I compared at least seven online laser stores before i bought the 150mw green laser from LaserPointerPen.Net, and their price is more competitive than techlaser, dragonlaser or other known brands, at least for those 150mw to 700mw lasers. When you wanna buy a laser, please compare the price of the products on the same level.

You seem to be a fan of o-like, that's okay. but why not be a little just? A group of laser buyers are reading our thread for future laser purchase.

You " tested them over and over"? You make us think you do the quality inspection job. Before i was trapped by highlasers, their customer support, they emphasized that their team woud test the laser three times.

If you were their tester, you can say that. I would spend my money on it.

I hope you can be a little more responsible for laser buyers.
To be honest I've never even purchased anything from O-like, I just recommend them because everybody else has success with them, I hear the owner actually sends tested power readings with their higher power lasers which is a huge plus in my opinion. Of course they have their occasional bad complaint too. Now o-like isn't the only company I'll recommend for new members, other companies like Dealextreme, Rayfoss, Kaidomain, Budgetgadgets, and even member DIY lasers I'll happily recommend to people because of the price for a good working laser.

By "tested and tested" I didn't mean I personally tested those lasers, I meant the forum as a whole has tested those lasers.

Also, I'm not trying to trash laserpointerpen, I'm just saying that their prices can't compete with websites that sell the same exact laser. Now testing methods do make a difference in the quality of a product, but most cheap laser companies these days get all of their lasers from the exact same suppliers, if you take apart cheap lasers from different websites they all have the exact same insides made from the same exact manufacturer.

In example, this laser that laserpointerpen sells for $130:: Real Bargain! 200mw Waterproof red laser torch light match, pops a balloon and cut tapes!
can bebought here for $59: or here for DealExtreme: $59.31 HLP18130 Focusable 200mW Red Laser Pointer (2*123A Included)
or here for $74: Rayfoss

I think that laserpointerpen.com is crap. Overpriced crap. I have never even heard of them until powerline started talking about them. It looks like a new site that is only being mentioned by new members. I doubt any of us will buy anything from them and I hope that we all can educate the new users enough to point them in the right direction to get the same or similar lasers for a much better price.

I can't help but get the impression that most of these new startup sites just buy their crap from DX or a similar site and try to sell it for a profit to the ignorant.

I thought the same thing. Seems like they are selling the same kind of stuff that o-like is, only for way more $$.

well said. maybe each company just resell some repeated models in order to make their store look like "widest range of lasers". it's not wise enough. i bet laserpointerpen.net just sacrific their self-made waterproof models by reselling the commonly seen red lasers.
why can't Chinese resellers be more creative. all models look alike for years.

well said. i found highlasers, warnlaser and laserto all resell Boblasers' models who resemble much cni laser. i bet each company just resell some models from other companies so as to make their store have "the widest range of lasers". it's kind of unwise. laserpointerpen.net just sacrifice their innovated waterproof models by reselling commonnestly seen models. why can't chinese laser companies be a bit more creative in model design? most models look like for years.
