This morning I finished up my latest build. A PL450 diode in one of sinner's cypreus solid copper hosts. It's a chrome one, using two AAAs as the power source for full mobility and good heat dissipation. I set it to run at 150mW on 2 lightly used alkaline AAAs so it would have a long life and to allow long run times. It so happens however, that a good friend of mine just had a very close friend pass away as I was building it. I'd like to take this opportunity to offer her my condolences, and to remind you all to be safe, not only with your lasers...but in all aspects of your lives, and to give some thanks for those in your life that support you, be it friends or family that truly make it special.

these show up blue in photoshop and on my iphone 4s, but for some reason they show purple in most other programs...must be different interpretation of the data...
