It's a standard CCP bolted to a heatsink - the output is in the form of a huge bar. Heck I don't really see any kind of focusing lens at all, just a piece of plastic to direct the light to the target and protect the diode emitters from damage.

Probably it had been conceived (medical instrument) for a near and big target, maybe the skin.

Seriously? I paid $170 shipped for my 60w water cooled 808nm laser diode bar.

Yes, but this one came with the proper power supply and everything, not to mention the laser die was mounted on a cool lazor gun contraption :D

'xactly. It was a fully system and that gun attachment is just awesome. I'll be looking out for more.

Yeah, its a fully functional system for 2.2¢/mW. Your typical bluray burner from Mr. Igor goes for what?... $1.42/mW.

I suppose, but it's certainly not something I'd buy as it was much more fun to build my own system around the 60w bar I got. Only cost a few bucks and junk I had laying around.

$0.0028/mW =P
