Check out Laserglow.com for this awesome deal. "friday25" is the discount code. I am just trying to make everyone aware so nobody misses out. I already ordered one for myself. They are offering 25% of all of their already lowered prices!

No they still have many lasers available. I was very close to picking up an Aquarius 5 over the weekend but there was a glitch in there discount system. I ended up deciding to wait till the next CNI group buy instead.

Yeah, so how powerful would a 2mW yellow laser look? I mean, I would love a yellow, but I'm not sure if $250 with shipping is worth it for a 2mW yellow, versus say a 200+mW green.

Like, could you even see a beam without smoke?

Well I had the pleasure of playing with a yellow laser pointer yesterday briefly. It is one awesome color, I'll tell you that. It's something you have to see in person, because before I had, I didn't think much of the yellow color. The dot was clearly visible, but as to the beam, I can't say since I tested it during the daylight hours. But for $225 I think its a great deal.

a 0-2mw yellow will seem weak if your only used to green lasers. you will only see the beam through fog. the biggest problem i had with my old rigel was fluctuation. it could never really keep a stable output for more than 10seconds at a time (except when using fresh lithiums)
if you've never seen yellow in person, i highly recommend you bite the bullet and treat yourself to one. this wavelength is rare and beautiful, chances are.. you would raise alot more eyebrows amongst your friends as opposed to a green which is becoming something of the norm.

Pen-sink will solve the problem :).

The 2mW yellow might look close to a 5mW green. The yellow wavelength I believe is closer to the center of our visible spectrum. I have owned a yellow and the beam was not visible unless in the absolute dark or with fog.
I have combined red and green to make yellow but it isnt the same. You usually will have an outline of red or green around the "yellow" beam. Also the yellow dot will only appear different shades of yellow on certain objects and some it will look green and som it will look red. They are also easy to get out of alignment causing a dual beam green and red side by side. If you really want yellow this is the way to go. If you want something close to yello with much more power than get the CNI RGY laser for around the same price (I think same price anyway)

I've got a Rigel with NO power fluctuations, & the Yellow it produces is simply beautiful. There's no other word to describe it. I've also got one of the CNI RGY lasers coming from GB 6. I'm just dying to see the color the higher mW's is gonna produce. rob
