I have this 462nm C6 (2W M462 DTR diode) I put together just because I really wanted to see the color. I now realize that I'd rather have 445nm than 462 and even 450. Heck, 420nm-430nm would make me drool in appeasement. It's up on ebay right now as a beginner's kit because do not want, but I'm pretty sure no one is going to give in to that Buy It Now price.

I'm sure it would be a much lighter blue if I fed it all the current it deserves, but I just don't want to sink any more money into this laser and what's the point when you reaaaally need to use safety glasses?
It has a copper collimator module and copper heatsink. Thermal compound was applied to the outside surfaces of the module and heatsink. It has a 1.25A Survival Laser buck driver and a 3 element DTR lens with 2 springs behind it. The lens has 0 specs of dust. Measured 1134.6mw on 8.2v and 131.2mw on 4.2v. I've been using it very lightly mostly on a single 18650.

The total cost of the build was $142US. Wondering if I could get maybe a similarly cool laser like a serious power 532 or 520. If you have anything else you think is a good trade, please share; perhaps an image with a timestamp like mine.

If trade, then we pay our separate shipping. Please use a tracking number.
If buy, then I pay shipping CONUS. Shipping is 8USD if outside of CONUS. Paypal invoice only

Edit: I got 2 ebay watchers overnight after posting. Ebay takes priority over this thread, no matter if I get a really awesome trade.
I'd rather get a really cool laser or whatever than just selling it

Re: WTT/S: 1100mw 462nm C6 for ?

Bump
Ooooh ok, I see it now. I built a laser for my friend Steve using DTR's type A 1.8w laser diode, which I know is definately about 445nm and not 450nm. It's really hard to compare 462nm with 450nm, especially on a digital camera (most cheap Chinese blue lasers these days use a 450nm diode). If you're reading this and aren't acquainted with all 3 wavelengths and your favorite color is indigo, you need to stock up on those 445nm laser diodes. In 5 years, no one will know what an indigo laser looks like because they won't be manufactured anymore.

Here are both, the 445 running at 100mw and the 462 at 130mw. Again, hard to tell the difference on digital, but in person the difference is absolutely beautiful.
Edit: 445 is so boss.
