Hi All,

they are 5mm in diameter.

2010 manufacture.

I do not know the pressure, nor any additional specs.

Shipping will be 5$ regardless of size of order CONUS. 12$ for international. Flat rate box for protection - these are fragile glass vials.

Thank you for your support. I've got bills to pay! :sick2: webhost, various licenses, some hosts I need for fitment testing, etc.

How long do they glow for?
and how long will they last lifetime of them, if you keep them intact?

The half-life of tritium is 12.3 years so it should be half as bright in 12 years from now.

I pretty sure they last 25 years, but he said they are from 2005 so it will last another 20 years about

If they were thicker I'd get them but there so thin I can't imagine what you would use something that thin for?

Read that again. :na: The vials he's selling are from 2010, the vials in the top picture are different, the top is from 2010 and the bottom is from 2005.

yep! but the human eye does not count a 50% drop as 50%.. inverse square formula. you would need it to drop to 25% to look half as bright

mount them in a safe housing -- perhaps on a wall or something, and you've got a safety marker that glows a darn long time without power.

These look interesting.. but just curious.

Usually, permanent emergency illumination for instrumental panels (analogs) ..... or where there any possibility to have total darkness and you must be always in condition to read the instruments (just as example, in astronauts suits, for the air indicators, but they have others similar uses) ..... also, in places where you can have the need to have an emergency path indication also in conditions of total desaster (underground escape ways systems when all the power lines are down, or similars)

Just some examples ;)

they are also commonly found on watches and gun sights.. though the tubes are not as big.

Got mine the other day along with some other items, it's my first contact with tritium, and it's easily noticeable at night and the way he shipped it guaranteed it would survive, buy from csshih without fear.
