This is a cool little laser I built a few days ago. I went for a fixed focus setup here, and kept the original Aperture cap to keep the cool look of the host. Due to the longer driver board I had to modify the cap, however, and in the process my dremel slipped and tapped the front. Here is a video of the laser during which I attempt to show the defect. This is a good chance for anyone who doesn't necessarily have the money to buy one usually to get one for cheaper than the parts. This build takes two 10440 Li-Ion batteries.
The defect is small and hard to notice unless you are actively looking for it. I have a new host and diode and driver on the way now for me to build a replacement so I am putting this one up for sale. It outputs a little over 160mW.
