This is a cool little laser I built a few days ago. I went for a fixed focus setup here, and kept the original Aperture cap to keep the cool look of the host. Due to the longer driver board I had to modify the cap, however, and in the process my dremel slipped and tapped the front. Here is a video of the laser during which I attempt to show the defect. This is a good chance for anyone who doesn't necessarily have the money to buy one usually to get one for cheaper than the parts. This build takes two 10440 Li-Ion batteries.

The defect is small and hard to notice unless you are actively looking for it. I have a new host and diode and driver on the way now for me to build a replacement so I am putting this one up for sale. It outputs a little over 160mW.

Cost for me to build: ~85 dollars

I am asking: 70 Dollars Shipped, anywhere in the US. Here are some pics:

pretty interested in one of these,, how bright is this compared to a green to you? like as bright as a 50mw green? ect.. also how is the divergence on this laser?

also batteries included?

If LivinLoud doesn't already have dibs on this, like he said in the other thread I wouldn't mind snagging it up- :D

Idt he would have posted it if that were the case, but if your seriously interested then I'll just wait, and see if I can't commission WBS to build me one in 405 or 450nm further down the line, it's chill..

Have my 100mw green, had my 445 nm laser built by daguin a while ago, just ordered a 405nm from him and is currently being worked on, and now i just need a good red, pretty interested but ill let you know if i change my mind.

Wow, this got a lot of responses pretty quick. I am going to wait and see what Livinloud thinks. Also, I have measured the divergence with calipers and I came out with 0.169mRad, which is VERY good. I could only measure out to 9meters tonight but I will try to find a place with longer field of vision. Using it for star pointing tonight was AWESOME. I do not have a 50mW 532nm to compare it to right now but it is VERY visible in the nightsky, and I live in a major city with light pollution. Looks like a thread of energy.

I honestly like this build a little more than my 450 due to its insane divergence. We will see what happens. I have a good system for setting the fixed focus so I think I will manage it well with my other builds.

well let me know what he says, i really am interested in this color with the good beam specs.. always one step behind livinloud lol he beat me on the 400mw grean steal deal - tell him it will be my first 638 lol

gotta go to bed tho now will see what has happened in the morning, pm me or post with news

WOw, that divergence is fucking awesome! VERY NICE build WBS. Seriously in AWE right now...I would buy this ASAP if there weren't so many buyers after it....

BTW: PM me with your "System for setting fixed divergence" Because i have horrible luck with figuring divergence properties.

have at it guys.....although i would freakin love to own this laser, im moving in a month and just realized ive been spending way too much of the money i put away for furniture

Only money left that i have stowed away for lasers right now is already tied up in my ARGMeter so unfortunately im going to have to pass on buying new lasers for a little bit (unless i see something i MUST have)

WBS, i will be in contact with you once i move to either build me a Q5 set or one of these leadlight sets, they are too nice not to own

Are you sure of the numbers you posted, that divergence is better than any laser in the market. I have never read of a divergence lower than. 0.2mR....

after three months of being here .ive seen that great beam shots make great sales.
that is a great beam shot and laser pointer is really fine too.

cool i certainly will hav at it then,

and for his divergence numbers, he was only able to mesure it at 9 m so it possible the focal point was set around that distance,, either way im sure its still pretty low. definitely way less than 1

Will throw my money at you as soon as I have it :P
Shouldn't be long if I can finish this M140 build and get it LPM'd and sold...
