Prodded it with a few too many mA.

Worked for about an hour but then gave up the ghost. Running at 230mA

OK, perhaps a little too much......

Seems like your not as "lucky" as Daguin...I think his "mistake" is still running @ 300ma I think it was? Why were you running it at 230ma? I just built one running on 190ma and it works great! ;D

Scopeguy has a GB going on now and he should have a couple extra comming in this week.

Easy tiger

I am using crutch's driver to power mine. Just need to get the resistors sorted out to give it some less harmfull mA's.
At least I now have a good dummy load for seeting up the driver.
