Hey guys,
Have been around here for a few months and , well... love lasers.
Bought a survival laser, hopped on a group buy the other month and now would like to give a shot at a custom build.
I would like to build a custom 405 or 445 build, 400-500mW.
I have a host in mind that is built to hold 3 AAA's. (very tiny) Its my understanding that a driver could be run at this voltage.
Since I dont have a lpm, and don't plan on getting one, I'd like to have someone do the calibration of the driver for me. I would handle the creation of a heat-sink.
What I would be looking for would be (preferably all from the same person):
1) blue or violet diode
2) Small, very small driver calibrated to give me the power output @ 4.5V
3) Aixiz mounting - with lens
4) Advice - Would 3xAAA give enough current, or should I try and modify the host. It could handle two CR123A, but I'd like to keep it simple stupid for the first build.
Shipped to Canada.
Thanks!
