WTB: LPM

Hey everyone,
I want to buy an LPM for a reasonable price. I could also trade my 140mW Blu-Ray that i would otherwise sell, because i have a lot of lasers anyway.

It is a beautiful laser. It has a jayrob heatsink and a flexdrive set at 150mA.
It is awaiting a warning label from Andy_con.

Even if I were still making my meters the price is more than $200. I made the mistake of selling my meters which were worth waaay more than $200 for $150 and now there are no more available.

Essentially what it comes down to is if you want a meter, Save up and buy a quality one. In order to do that, your going to need more than $150-$170. Even the used one's on ebay are worth more than that!

seriously you are not going to find anything for under 200 that is even decent unless you find a GREAT deal

Whoa whoa whoa! Whats with the hostility. I was just making a statement. I understand being broke and not having a lot of money to throw towards a power meter. heck, it was one of the reasons I started selling the Kenometers. But realistically, if you want quality you pay for it. That's a rule of the world. Don't take it out on me.

well certain blu rays may be worth that much depending on the brand or who makes them but you can also get lpms for very cheap but they wont be worth a damn especially with 405nm.

a thermopile meter for 200 is a VERY good deal and i can bet you wont find any other new ones for that price.

so really i still suggest the lpm1 from laserbee.

or if you wanted you could send me or any reputable person with a power meter your laser and im sure they would gladly measure the readings and if they have data logging and graphing ability they would probably even do a print out for you to have for your records

i would gladly do this until you find the funds to buy your own.
