Re: WTB: laser stuff ($57.81 exact)

Seems to be a very ambitious laser list you got there with the budget.

Re: WTB: laser stuff ($57.81 exact)

Are you saying you want all of them or just one of them for $57.81?

Re: WTB: laser stuff ($57.81 exact)

You can probably find a good pen laser in any of them colors for that price but don't expect to get that kind of power for that amount of funds.

Re: WTB: laser stuff ($57.81 exact)

Alright I just found a laser, thanks for the replies!

I notice goggles are not included in that quote.

Also, that heatsink will be too long for that host, and might not fit width-wise. Do you have experience with these items to suggest another member spend their money on it?

One more thing to note, is that the most likely the only batteries this could take would be a cr2 if it fits after the heatsink and module are in, and I'm not even sure it would be wide enough. You are suggesting a pretty difficult DIY project to a new member.

Edit: Glad to be proved wrong :) He still needs safety glasses though.

The heatsink fits nicely into the host it is a little long but you can just cut it with a hack saw. The 14500 is the only battery this host can take and everything fits perfectly.

Normal Host and Shortened Host.

And the battery does fit with the heat sink and driver.

Re: WTB: laser stuff ($57.81 exact)

I would like to buy ANOTHER laser now, $70 shipped, US sellers only please :)
Only US sellers because shipping takes longer from other countries, and so does customs! :)

Re: WTB: laser stuff ($70.00)

$70 for a complete laser in a "cool host" is 100% impossible. Parts alone will always run over your budget

 Think I could take parts from another laser and stick it in a cool host?

Re: WTB: laser stuff ($70.00)

What laser do you have as a donation? From your sig, the only laser with usable parts is the M140. "cool hosts" are based on taste but IMO "cool" hosts run about $60+

(Still a noob) Is the M140 the Sci-Fi laser?

Edit: Already searched, cannot find answer.

Yeah, M140 is the diode in it. The rest of the stuff is mass produced and pretty much useless when taken apart
