WTB: Laser Safety Googles or Glasses OD6+ at 1320nm. I can find some expensive ones at Thorlabs, but nothing under 100 USD anywhere else which are better than OD5 at 1320nm IR.
I should have waited longer to post, I found some OD5 rated glasses here which are suitable to protect against looking at a spot on a non-shiny surface for 15 watts of 1320nm (not that I would see anything):
I will wait a couple of days to buy them, in case someone else has a suggestion for something better.
Something which has me concerned is whether they are good for 1320nm, I see similar safety glasses sold other places and they give a list of wavelengths they are for across 800-1700nm, but don't specify 1320nm as being one of them... hmm.... I can't risk using something I don't know for sure what the specifications are.
More research is due...
Edit: OK, found some specs for EagleLaser EP1 glasses, but they look different from the survival laser offering. If the curve on this page is the same, then I will be fine: http://www.eaglelaser.cn/En/GoodsView/701.html
Lot of useful parts/tools/equip maybe worth looking through.
I found some brown colored 1200-2000 od ? for 40.00 - 52.00 but I really don't feel good recommending anything but wrap around, face sealing type goggles for invisible high power lasers. laserman121 listed Laservision and those are what I want for near ir but 350.00 - 480.00 is the price range, but they are real rated goggles, not glasses.
If money was not an object there are lots of good certified such as - http://www.phillips-safety.com/laser-safety/laser-safety-glasses.html
But I will post some links, read and be sure what you are getting.
