Here is what i suggest: 50mW transformable green laser/adjustable/burning [OLV50] - $41.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

It can pop a balloon and has some burning capabilities. And it will be over spec or up to spec usually. The host also looks nice. Whats your budget. Do you have any laser safety glasses?

O-like is a very good company with good customer service. And also WELCOME!

Welding glasses will not work at all, just so you know.

If you are also interested in a visible beam, I currently have one of the strongest 650nm lasers around for sale.
http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/65...tml#post907809

It burns everything that 405nm burns, has a much more visible and tighter beam. It is as visible as about 9W (9000mW) of 405nm.

Get the "80mW" version of these:

DINODIRECT Firedragon V on LPM

or another FIREDRAGON laser from Dinodirect.

If you go for a DIY laser, youŽll have a better after-buy service.
