Anyone has spare, working KES-400AAA sleds from the PS3 era wanting to sell them? I need one for my second PS3, whose reader has said goodbye....

I'd need it to be shipped to spain.

Well I actually have only one new one left, but I wasn't exactly looking to sell it (I want to use it to make a crappy, but still cool, magenta laser). Hopefully you can find someone else, but if you have a lott of trouble, then PM me.

I don't have problems or trouble finding them, I just want them cheaper than in stores if there's someone willing to sell me one at lower price. If I can't find anything cheaper, I can get them for 38€. I just ask here because some time ago a member offered me one of this sleds for $10 IIRC, but shipping was expensive and I hadn't money at that time, when PHR's were $25 xD.

I'm not totally sure if it's a diode failure because It doesn't read blu-rays, nor DVD's nor even CD's... so either it's been a complete COD'ed diode or the failure comes from elsewhere. I'll disassemble the old diode and try to power it, anyways.

If you can wait like a week or so until the coils arrive (I can wait for the sleds too) , how about a TPS63020 based laser diode driver, which should be capable of 2A buck-boost, adjustable and all that stuff? It'd be a "prototype" and I don't actually know if it will work, but if it does (which based on other experience, I mostly expect), I think it could be a good trade.
