Hello. I am totally new here. I am also totally new to lasers. I honestly know nothing about them really. The guides on LPF are to confusing for me.
Anyway... I want to buy a complete guide. Not one of those text files but a video covering really all you need to know. You can pm with a price and what you would cover in the vid. Thanks :D
If this is not allowed here sorry.

Also, i suppose you have to specify what is your interests ..... laser safety ? ..... DIY ? ..... lab styles ? ..... handhelds ? ..... specific models or mods, or kits assembly ? ..... i think it's impossible to make a video guide that cover anything, but is also probable that some guides that covers some of the fields already exists .....

Also, sorry, why "buy" ? ..... as far as i know, if peoples here have guides, they post them for free, usually (except, ofcourse, if someone have to produce a tailored guide specifically made for personal requests, but til now, i've seen nothing similar) .....

I want to know about making it. So diy. And the reason I want to pay, is because I want an detailed one. Also some talking to the person via instant message. and talking to them one on one. I want to know how to connect a driver to the build and really all of diy'ing. Like what does a pot do?

With a bit of searching this forum most of your questions will be answered with good detail.
The search function is quite handy.

Welcome to LPF. You will find everything you need to know to be safe and build a quality laser here. Many of the sellers of kits will be more than willing to help you understand the how and why to assemble a kit.

When I was new, I also got a little lost with information overkill. I spent a lot of time with cold feet, felling unsure as if I was ready or not. I kept reading, and re reading all the different guides.
What you need to do is buy a kit from flaminpyro or jayrob, pick a guide and go for it. Once you get all the parts and have a actual host in your hands. It all becomes much clearer then trying to piece all the parts together in your head, or by just looking at pictures in a guide.

This is the guide I used and still use, for the diode pinout.

Go for a red or phr diode nice and cheap.
Use a host that takes a 18650 cell. They have plenty of room for first timers.

Would anyone be willing to compile a shopping list for all the parts i need?
And also tell me a little about how to setup a driver to the diode?
