I would like to spend $300usd but could stretch if I had to to $350

Also I'm in Australia just as a warning for postage no customs issues though

Cheers Reuben

If you are truly interested in the "envee" or NOVA's Alpha series, I woudl wait until a proper review has been done - although the units are identical (as far as I know) I would not trust lucent to deliver anything of quality - all I have seen personally, and heard from them are crap, including their largest supporter, who is banned here because of his spamming, and threatening nature....

Well, I juast saw in another thread that Merlous has had a really good experience with Lucent - now that does NOT make me retract my earlier statement, the one I tested from Lucent was total garbage....since I personally tested that one, I am positive of the outcome. Now, to be honest with you - their spokesperson (not a spokesMAN per say) most likely jaded my image of the company as a whole, so there IS a major personal dislike there....

To be 100% fair, I would recommend caution when dealing with Lucent - but someone else may pipe in and say they are geniune, and good - but in my experience as of late - NOVA has kind of proven themselves over the other CNI retailers to be highly superior in their quality assurance, and their customer satisfaction is through the roof !

Well, at least with NOVA, you would get more than you paid for....I know they have actually had items on backorder before, trying to over-do the customer's expectations - so drop them an email and ask them what the "normal" powers to expect would be....Make sure to use the forum discount code, " warp5 " (without the """"" marks...)
for a 5% discount, too !:p

I bought one from the guy who sells on UltraLasers. 100mW for $165 (shipping is around $15 extra) is a pretty good deal. The one I received is great (lights matches, etc.). I don't think he'll give you a power graph like Nova does.

Kwinchee, what country are you in? I think I can make you a good offer on a new >125mW CNI laser that will come with a power graph/certificate free of charge. Please let me know if you're interested, thanks!

As Senkat said I have had no problems with my Envee and Lucent and according to my Lasercheck its consistent with its output at peak and at average once it has warmed up, but until Senkat gets his Alpha to test from Nova I would personally stay clear of that type as in the past it seems to of been a hit and miss laser from whats have told me.

I would go with an X-Series from Nova as its cheaper and you can get the Lens attachment which I think is totaly cool if you want to burn even quicker and do cool effects.

Now then Pseudo can't do the lens attachment but he can hopefully offer you a laser thats the same as an X-Series (CNI) but for cheaper, he is a top man and his communications are great and he really knows his stuff. I just brought an 808nm Laser + Goggles, 2 Cores and 2 Dragon Cases off of him and they are currently on their way here.
