what about this:
FOCALPRICE
have u guys had any experience with this unit so far?
it is so cheap it is worth to risk, or maybe i should spare 3 times as much and buy myself a rayfoss?
how do you think?
i am interested in a strong beam that i can point really really far away. burning is secondary.
thanks.

You get what you pay for. I love my Optotronics pen. It's scary bright.

Focal price is considered one of the bad companies i dont suggest buying from them. Ordering from them is just luck of the draw you might get something up to spec, but probably not. Depending on how much you want to spend you might want to look in the group buys section and check out CNI GB#9. They have some quality stuff.

oww...
that is too bad.
i really think it would be a shame to buy a 200mw on focal price and receive something less than 100mw.
are u guys sure there is no way i can ask the focalrice guys to test this unit's output?
thx!

I dont think anybody has ever gotten a 200mw green laser from focal price that was up to spec. They're probably mostly up to spec up to about 50mw. Above that most won't be.

kev you think the Rayfoss water proof one is really pushing out 170-230mw?
I stand by rayfoss 100% I have only had good experiences with them and faona is a peach to deal with you have any q's just shoot her an I.M. on msn! She will also LPM test it and send you a message telling you the specs!

Well I heard from another member with a meter that they were really unstable, so I'm not sure maybe he just got unlucky... You could message rayfoss before you order, and tell them your from Laser Pointer Forums, and you would do a review on it. I think you'd be more likely to get one of their better more stable units if you told them that...
