Hey I have $70 in my paypal account, im wanting to know from your experiences and such, what is the best green laser i can get for $70. Im mainly wanting a green that you can see the full beam at night in the sky out on the beach. Ive seen mixed reviews on all kinds of lasers and the DX 30mWs I know at good but I cant wait 3 weeks for shipping I need this laser for a Astro./Sci. course im currently taking at school. I need a Good green laser in the next week pref. in my hand by Saturday , the 19th of April. Please give me your input and Links to the laser you are telling me out please! Thank You all who come ad reply to my post!

For $80 you could get an X15 from Novalasers, and from what I've read, Novalasers usually sells lasers stronger than what they say, so instead of getting 15mW, you'd get about 20mW+.

But for your budget, unless someone on the forums sells you a green laser, KD/DX would be your best bet. This is in your budget, and is a new item. No one on the forum has one yet, but KD put a video up for it, and with 50mW you'll easily see the beam outside at night.

With $70, your selection is pretty limited to Kaidomain and Deal Extreme, unless you want to pay $80 for an X15, but those are out of stock at the moment.

Well, on your budget... You could get the premium optotronics 4.99mW and you would be able to get that before saturday. It's cheaper than the core, and it ships much faster than the DX lasers. Although, for the optimal brightness you would probably want to go a little over your budget and get the optotronics 30+. Believe me, there's a huge difference between 5mW and 30. It's worth it.

Yeah, but the Core is $81 shipped. His only real choices would be an Optotronics Premium 5mW Green, or a Lyra-G 5mW.

i'd go with the core or lyra i got the free 8 mw with my rpl purchase looks like a dx 5 mw only doesnt work as good as a dx

The pointers at optotronics are basically dx lasers that Jack has tested for IR leakage and output with a meter.
If you absolutely can't go over $70 you should buy a lyra series from laserglow and use the cheapest shipping.

ok thats why mine mode shifted and jack was going to check it out but for 7 more dollars after shipping cost I could've gotten a new one from dx ended up getting my sons all three of them a safer glp 105 leadlights they are pretty happy now

I purchased all of mine from vital spirit online 60 bucks moddable leadlight i dont know if they still have them though i just checked thier site looks like they are still availible i purchased 4 1 for me three for my kids all work nice i pot modded mine to 18 mw holds it great anyways look em up

Trip out got a few lenses from Jack -optotronics took a collaminator type
and popped a ballon with my leadlight did it 4 times no problem i didn't think a leadlight could do that

5mW is fine for sky pointing, you can pick one up at radioshack for $50.
