Ok guys, I would like to know if someone could make a custom laser (Or a few of them). Here are the specs i need:

USB POWERED! This is a must - USB = 5v
5mW RED
Flexible neck
Stand (Slightly heavy, as not to fall over from the necks position)
on / off switch (Preferably on the stand)

I made my own using a stripped USB lamp, a 5mW red diode in aixiz casing and soldering them together lol. Basically, its a "DIY" one of these:

http://www.bestlag.com/index-laser.html

It works a treat for me, but i want to sell some to friends and other people on ebay (Sell as 1mW) and i cant have it looking like how mine does at the moment lol:

Its not bad for a 2min project, cost under $10 to make too :D. If anyone could make a more secure sturdy build then let me know! Willing to pay $25 shipped tops, as id like to resell to my customers cheap too. Thanks!

any typical aixiz module will work off the usb buss.

Although it confuses me as to why you've got a seperate stand instead of simply attaching it to the device your aiming with. How aiming a dot at a screen taht is stationary while your pointing device moves is going to help you is beyond me.

No...its to aim at the centre of the screen, for gamers lol. The stand and moveable neck allows you to stand the laser anywhere u need it to, and still aim it at ur screen.
I know any typical aixiz will run off usb, i was wondering if someone could make me a more solid and secure build, instead of what my genius came up with (Wires exposed etc lol...cant sell that can i :D)

You yourself could easily build something like that. All you need is a suitable host and an aixiz module and you'll be good to go. Although as I said, even a stationary crosshair just seems like a waste of money. Your crosshairs are only good when you've got a stationary gun in the game. Since those games usually come with a crosshair, why would something like this be necessary.

I play call of duty world at war on Hardcore mode (Removes ALL the H.U.D [crosshair, ammo count etc]. Also there isnt any crosshair when you aim down the sites anyway, just the iron sights. Its alot easier to put the laser on a guy and fire, then line up the iron sights then fire). I already made one myself using a knackered USB lamp and adding a aixiz module, but like i said it looks a right state with all the wires etc...ive even bluetacked it to the surface its on so it doesnt "swing" the neck or fall flat on its face due to the weight of the module. I was just wondering if someone has any ideas for a host that was a solid build OR if they could somehow make a custom one.

WEll, anything anyone here could make that was 5mw is going to be just as easy for you to make. There are a TON of tutorials on this forum on how to make your own laser in a flashlight.

Do they include a flexible neck and switch on a "heavy" stand?  ;)lol

You could put the pointer in a tripod with a flexible stand ? ::)

Well to be honest, the first ever one i DIY'd was a small keychain laser in one of those Helping Hands Solder things

http://reprap.org/pub/Main/SolderingToolKit/helping-hands-tool.jpg

But kept running out of battries, so i thought why not just hook it up to usb? I looked all over for a usb lead, contemplating cutting one of my unused printer leads down, but then remembered i had a knackered usb lamp lol. So i hooked it to that, and voila. I think a solid one piece build would look better to any customer, and as im not very good with electronics, wondered if anyone could make something "cool" looking. Thanks for the input though guys! Much appreciated - jogging the mind alittle lol
