Hey, ive seen on youtube a blu-ray laser pointer (kipkays video on how to make one) and he said that he made one for less than $100 while on here they are over $200 why is the price so different? Also I am looking to buy a nice laser for around $100 I'm not sure if you guys can do this but PM me or just write below.

sry for the double post, but i would like to add that I am also interested in "hand-me-down" lasers. The lasers that you are not using, but still work great (i dont want a broken laser) for a good price too.

the price difference is b/c kip kay built it himself. when you buy from someone else theres something called labor to factor in... ;)

They cost more on here because they are QUALITY BUILT lasers, not taking one thing & turning it into something it wasn't meant to be in the first place ;)

Hey,

If your looking for an inexpensive blu-ray then check-out this thread and contact the seller: http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1231881596

The reason that kipkay's lasers are cheap, is the fact that he doesn't use a driver/host etc. etc. etc. ,haven't seen the video so can't say exactly which parts are missing or substandard, but based on his previous video's there is always something missing.

EDIT: lol thought I was gonna be the first one to answer in this thread, went to get a drink finished typing and I see 3 replies ;D
