Off topic but kinda relevant...I wonder how long before we have a seller sting by a media outlet ?? You know, someone sells, lets say a 2w 445, to someone off of here and it makes it to national tv news. They go to show just how dangerous a 2w 445 portable laser can be if kids got it. They show just how easy it is to find and buy that laser.

It's bound to happen.

Actually it feels like it belongs in your hand. It's the most hand appealing host I've held recently. The size and weight is perfect, and it might not look it in the picture but it's true. I'm truly amazed by how the polished aluminum feels it's way better then the anodized black one.

Okay, ill take your word for it. It probably has a different feel in different sizes of hands.

@ abeepak1: With a 405-G-1 lens from jayrob it will probably hit between 1300mW-1400mW. It's still available, but won't be ready until Tuesday as I waiting on the 10440 batteries to arrive. The black has a 650nm LCC @ 420ma if that is of interest to you. I'll be creating the for sale thread tonight or first thing tomorrow with pictures and details on both the 445nm and the 650nm.

Hmm interesting, I'll wait till tuesday if you still want to sell it to me. Though can you tweak it up a bit to, lets say, 1600mW? I know its sounds ridiculous, but I'm one of those crazy people where even 10mW effects how I feel, let alone 100mw+:) I'd just like to generally see performance higher than the 1.5W mark. As for cooling, I think I'll manage to come up with something if its necessary. Being in the automotive industry, does give you an upperhand in being crafty, including with lasers. :eg:

And Aside from the lawsuit they will be receiving from the blind kids, they will also be raided by a bunch of angry customers who still have not received their order.

I must admit, when i first found Wicked Lasers, I was thinking that their products and customer service would be excellent because of their colorful webpage. You know what i mean.. Like their descriptions of the E2 and Core along with the high quality pictures to lure you in to their low quality products. Lol. Ordering from them turned out to be a bad idea. Never got a tracking number, never got replies to my email, etc. Their Torch flashlight sucks too :(

Whats the point of a flashlight that runs for 5 minutes, and would literally burn your hairs if you pointed it in the wrong direction?

See, thats what i dont get either. It only runs for 5 minutes. You cant even use it to find things around the house when your power goes out. I guess its good if you become lost for 5 minutes? :D
