I dont think you'll be able to find a 2W+ laser for $200-250. You might be able to, but then it would have to be in a cheap hotlights host.

@ abeepak1: With a 405-G-1 lens from jayrob it will probably hit between 1300mW-1400mW. It's still available, but won't be ready until Tuesday as I waiting on the 10440 batteries to arrive. The black has a 650nm LCC @ 420ma if that is of interest to you. I'll be creating the for sale thread tonight or first thing tomorrow with pictures and details on both the 445nm and the 650nm.
One sold recently for 300$. Might want to check your opinion.
I checked my opinion and it says GOOD LUCK finding a decent 445nm 2w buddy.
Good luck finding anyone on here to sell you a 2w laser with you being a newbie on LPF.
Just curious, where else could you have snagged a high power unit online ?? Please tell...thanks.

I have a join date older then yours kiddo. just because I never posted doesn't mean I haven't pm'd people or don't read tons of posts.
There are 3-4 websites providing +1.5w lasers that I've visited.
I like your hosts personally, lol.

I don't have the links. They were all from browsing these boards. Most were around 300-400$.

Where did I lie? I said I saw +1.5w. There was also one for sale recently here for 300$. I have been offered one for 325 already. I signed up when I was 21. But please continue to be butt hurt.

Actually it feels like it belongs in your hand. It's the most hand appealing host I've held recently. The size and weight is perfect, and it might not look it in the picture but it's true. I'm truly amazed by how the polished aluminum feels it's way better then the anodized black one.
