Guys, two friends of mine want to buy a PSP each.

They want the PSP 3000 and it must have the 5.03 Firmware (or older)

If you have a new one or a used one (in perfect state, of course), let me know your offers and I'll send them to my friends.

what about a 1001 is really a better system it can do more than the 3001 home brew the only thing i can comment about the 3000 is the better screen other than that i dont know if the 3000 has been hacked yet but the 1000 was hacked from day one because there wasnt security on the 1.5 version it was open for everything code wise but since its gotten on we still have our basic 1.5 system but now only on 5.00m33 custom firmware or even 5.50GEN-D just my input i would rather have the 1000 unless you know something i dont because of asking about firmware 5.03 or lower another thing you have to look out for is the TA-088V3 is un hackable as far as i know just some words of advice from a old school psp hacker

Thanks for the input, but they're not for me and they specifically asked for the 3000 model.

yea i would just let them know what i said because i absolutely love my 1001 with the cfw i mean i can change the channels on my tv play super mario bros... all nes, gba, gbc, Snes,Sega... you get the idea and they almost have N64 playing on it it plays but its a little bit slow and also with custom firmware you can play ISO's of youre games or well if you know where to get them any game just my input the isos load faster and your battery lasts longer but like i said i would give them my input but if they want to play umd movies and follow sony's rules i think the screen looks crystal clear
but other than the screen the only difrences i can find is the 1001 has a ir port the 3001 has a microphone no problem man im always glad to help

but you still cant install CFW permanently on a 3000, or?

IDK on that i personally own a 1001 and have been out of the seen for a while kinda because the website i was an admin on was sold so i kinda got out of the seen maybe there is a way now maybe not idk i was just stating my own personal knowledge trying to help

I have a PSP 3001 with 1 standard battery, one PANDORA battery and AC charger. I don't mind swapping for lasers (BR) - Let me know. Photos attached. How Can I check firmware
